INTERNS, VOLUNTEERS & SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year the conference has about 30 positions for interns, staff and volunteers. The director also awards registration scholarships for musicians or acts that have submitted, travel a long distance and /or for individuals and acts that express hardship. Interested parties should communicate their interest in scholarship opportunities to the conference director by May 22, 2006.

Hundreds of independent artists will be showcasing at MMC10, and attending informative workshops and panels. The tenth annual event will feature 3 Days of music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring & demo listening sessions and trade show. The event celebrates new music and emerging talent with 3 Nights of showcases by original acts and artists.
Since its debut in 1997 as a winter event, the conference has become one of the premier music conferences and showcases on the East Coast. Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with the registrants and community. Harrisburg, the State Capital of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is just hours from New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore/Washington. Harrisburg is easily accessible by major highways and interstates, Amtrak trains and it's just minutes from Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown. The region is the former home of successful artists such as Danny Hartman, Poison, Live, Jeffrey Gaines and Fuel.

In June '06 MMC10 will host over 250 acts and artists on 25 stages at Harrisburg area live music venues.. MMC10 will create an exciting and valuable platform for new talent.
Showcase acts and artists perform at night and network with other showcasing acts and industry professionals in the unique conference All showcasing artists receive credentials for the Crowne Plaza on the day of their showcase so that they can attend the daytime music business sessions and trade show. Showcase acts represent almost all genres of contemporary music and 95% are unsigned, independent acts. Downtown Harrisburg comes alive with new music June 22-24, 2006.
CONFERENCE
Thursday, Friday & Saturday . June 22 - 24, 2006 In 2006 the Millennium Music Conference will feature 3 days of music business sessions and trade show. It's where you can meet and learn from music producers, managers, agents, promoters, talent buyers, publicists, publishers, studio engineers, radio station executives, lawyers, songwriters, recording artists, CD manufacturers and distributors, independent and major record label representatives. Sessions examine and discuss topical issues and the advances in technology that impact the future of music and music business. Registrants can attend panels, clinics, workshops and sign-up for "one-on-one" mentoring & demo listening sessions with music industry professionals on the mezzanine level of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BEGINNING 11/25/05. Early registration for the Millennium Music Conference is only $55.00 per person if completed before March 15, 2006. Current students and members of all acts that submit showcase applications can register for $55.00 up until June 9, 2006. This conference is the most affordable and musician friendly event of its kind in the country. You, your band or music industry related business need to be represented at this event. Networking at this music conference will provide you with the tools and contacts to take your music business skills to the next level; but you must register to attend and receive an All Access MMC10 laminate. All registrants receive a personalized all access laminate good for all 3 days and nights of conference events. Registrants also receive a listing in and a copy of the Conference Directory and the MMC10 Compilation CD in their MMC10 Buzz Bag. Your personalized All Access conference laminate is also good for entrance into hospitality parties and for discounts from the hotel, exhibitors, advertisers, sponsors and select downtown restaurants during the event.


MARKETING
The 10th Annual Millennium Music Conference has marketing opportunities that can achieve your objectives and fit you budget. Major sponsorship and media partnerships are specifically designed. Sponsorship is an ideal way to be front and center at this dynamic event. A Trade Show booth can place your business in the high traffic heart of MMC10. Advertising in the Conference Directory and/or placing inserts into the Conference Buzz Bag are creative and affordable ways to reach all attendees. And in 2005 over 33 showcasing acts had their music placed on the Compilation CD. HOTEL
In 2006 the Millennium Music Conference will be based at the Crowne Plaza Harrisburg Hotel. This completely refurbished property is located downtown just off Market Square. The 2006 host hotel is just a short walk to all inner-city showcase venues, restaurants, shops, historic sites, Riverfront Park, City Island, Strawberry Square Mall, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts & Sunoco Theater, the State Capitol Complex and Regional Transportation Center. It's where you'll want to be and where the action is throughout the conference. A special conference rate of $99.00 per night is available to all registrants, speakers and exhibitors. The rate is based on availability. Last June the Crowne Plaza was sold out! Make your reservations early by calling 717-234-5021 and ask for the MMC rate.
